MyAV·¶ Queen Square Institute of Neurology celebrates success at MyAV·¶ Sustainability Awards 2021

We're delighted to announce recognition of MyAV·¶ Institute of Neurology's commitment to sustainability at MyAV·¶â€™s annual Awards ceremony, taking home several top awards.
The event, which was held virtually on July 14th 2021, celebrated the achievements of staff and students across MyAV·¶ who are making a real contribution to the University’s sustainability agenda. Richard Jackson (Sustainability Director, MyAV·¶) hosted the event, and highlighted the awards MyAV·¶ has received over the past year, and also the launch of MyAV·¶ Climate Hub. Professor Deborah Gill (Vice-Provost (Education and Student Experience) then gave an overview of the role of students in MyAV·¶ sustainability, including SU Sustainability strategy and as Sustainability Ambassadors.Â
This year’s Ceremony welcomed nominees and award winners from across MyAV·¶, including nominations for the Awards celebrating MyAV·¶â€™s outstanding sustainability champions, and the teams participating in Green ImpactĚý˛ą˛Ô»ĺĚýLEAF, MyAV·¶â€™s sustainability behaviour change programmes. 45 teams participated in Green Impact in 2021, and 40 teams in LEAF. Martin Farley presented the LEA awards and commended ION for the co-ordination of their sustainability work, led by Stephanie Czieso.
The awards were made in recognition of the innovative best practice across the Institute, examples of which can be found on our Sustainability pages, and builds upon our success at previous awards.
