Membership for MyAV范 alumni and retired MyAV范 staff

Information for MyAV范 alumni and retired MyAV范 staff on how to apply for library membership.

Alumni

Ex-students of MyAV范 are entitled to re-join the library. Reference access is free of charge; a borrowing membership costs听拢50听per year.听

Borrowing membership does not听allow access to MyAV范 electronic resources from outside the library.

A reference ticket allows browsing of our physical collections and use of our Explore Access points to access MyAV范 electronic resources on-site, only.听

Please note: Former MyAV范 students wishing to apply for Alumni membership need to ensure that the library account they used when a student is clear before their application is processed.

To apply

To apply for membership, applicants must complete the online registration form and attach:

A passport style photo (colour, facing camera).
A photo/scan of proof of home address (for instance, a valid driving license or recent utility bill).
One of the following:
1. A听photo/scan of expired MyAV范 student ID card.
2. A photo/scan of MyAV范 degree certificate.
3. A photo/scan of official MyAV范 degree results transcript.
4. A photo/scan of previous MyAV范 alumni library card

Retired MyAV范 staff

Staff who retire from MyAV范 service are entitled to free borrowing membership.

To apply

To apply for membership, applicants must complete the online registration form and attach:

A passport style photo (colour, facing camera).
A photo/scan of proof of home address (for instance, a valid driving license or recent utility bill).
Evidence of MyAV范 retired status (for instance, a letter from HR / the department confirming your retirement from MyAV范).

Staff who are not retired

Former MyAV范 staff who have not retired from service, are not entitled to free borrowing membership and are only entitled听to access in line with their current situation and status. Please see specific information for听qualifying criteria for external users.
