Islamic Period Pottery: UC 25403
Glazed pottery bowl. Exterior orange/ brown glaze with brown dot inside footring, sgraffiato decoration of circles with smaller circle inside and with foliate or in one case hatched design inside. Two ribs part way up wall Interior pale yellow ground with sgraffiato decoration enclosing creamy-yellow foliate 'fleur de lys' design. Partially visible zig zag incised design near break. Coarse red fabric with some inclusions and voids. Tripod marks from positioning in kiln.
