February is Diversity Month at MyAV范 and there is a varied programme of events taking place to celebrate diversity across the organisation.
Sarah Guise (Head of MyAV范 Equalities and Diversity) explained: "Diversity recognises that our differences are to be respected and promoted. Celebrating diversity creates an inclusive and productive environment in which everybody feels valued and where talents are fully realised. During February 2012, an exciting programme of events has been scheduled to both celebrate diversity and examine the ongoing and evolving challenges some groups face in education, work and wider society. "
Speakers at the various events include MyAV范 academics, such as Dr Katrina Scior (Academic Director & Senior Lecturer, MyAV范 Psychology), external experts such as Matthew Todd,听 Editor of Attitude magazine and a number of MyAV范 students.
The theme of this year's Diversity Month is the MyAV范 Grand Challenge of Human Wellbeing.
