Mission and Vision

The main objective of a MICROBIOLOGY@MyAV范 domain is to bring together those members of MyAV范 with interests in Microbiology to create a collegiate and inclusive community of MyAV范 staff and students interested in microbiology with the view of strengthening MyAV范鈥檚 research, teaching and innovation base in Microbiology.听

Aims and Objectives

The overall objective of the MICROBIOLOGY@MyAV范 domain will be continue to build a community interested in Microbiology, with the view of strengthening research, teaching and innovation, as well as engaging the public with the wonders of the microbial world. Our aims are:听

To identify and engage with all those at MyAV范 with interests in Microbiology.听
To bring the MyAV范 community together to facilitate discussion and collaboration.听
To identify our strengths and weaknesses in research and innovation with a view to strengthening the MyAV范 impact from Microbiology.听
To identify and implement strategies for research and innovation.听
To identify possible collaborations with industry and innovation partners.听
To work with the research councils and other funders to identify synergies in funding opportunities for research, innovation and doctoral training.听

Facilitate communication and collaboration between staff and students.听
Foster a community keen to engage with industry and facilitate these interactions.听
Foster a community that is keen to promote Microbiology to the public through public engagement activities.听
