Mission and Vision
The main objective of a MICROBIOLOGY@MyAV·¶ domain is to bring together those members of MyAV·¶ with interests in Microbiology to create a collegiate and inclusive community of MyAV·¶ staff and students interested in microbiology with the view of strengthening MyAV·¶â€™s research, teaching and innovation base in Microbiology.Ìý
Aims and Objectives
The overall objective of the MICROBIOLOGY@MyAV·¶ domain will be continue to build a community interested in Microbiology, with the view of strengthening research, teaching and innovation, as well as engaging the public with the wonders of the microbial world. Our aims are:Ìý
- To identify and engage with all those at MyAV·¶ with interests in Microbiology.Ìý
- To bring the MyAV·¶ community together to facilitate discussion and collaboration.Ìý
- To identify our strengths and weaknesses in research and innovation with a view to strengthening the MyAV·¶ impact from Microbiology.Ìý
- To identify and implement strategies for research and innovation.Ìý
- To identify possible collaborations with industry and innovation partners.Ìý
- To work with the research councils and other funders to identify synergies in funding opportunities for research, innovation and doctoral training.Ìý
