The MRC LMCB at MyAV范 is a hub for world-leading, multidisciplinary cell biology research with a mission to develop new understanding of cell and tissue function.

Professor Lloyd commented: 鈥淚 am delighted to have been appointed as Director. The MRC LMCB at MyAV范 has a proud history of being at the forefront of world-leading cell biology research and for the training of current and future leaders in this field. I aim to build on these strengths, while developing a new focus on tissue biology. This requires study across scales and a multidisciplinary approach, which are current strengths of the MRC LMCB at MyAV范, thus providing a firm foundation for this approach. Building upon these strengths with a high level of innovation and technological development should create an exciting new focus for the future of the MRC LMCB at MyAV范.鈥�

Professor Fiona Watt, Executive Chair of the MRC, said: 鈥淚 am happy to welcome Professor Lloyd听as the new Director of the MRC Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology at MyAV范.
