Biography:
I am Associate Professor in Political Science and work on ideas about time, temporality and story-telling in International Relations. I am currently working on a project analysing the political discourses and possibilities in the âBritish new nature writingâ. I am especially interested in the ways that the temporalities of this writing reproduce or contest the temporalities of planetary destruction. This work builds on ideas about temporality and storytelling in my recent book Democracy Promotion as Foreign Policy: Temporal Othering in International Relations (2017).
