Inclusive Recruitment and Admissions

Institute for Global Prosperity鈥檚 (IGP) commitment to addressing social justice and the compounding injustices of intersectionality includes the IGP team, our student body, and our collaborators. We therefore strive to continually improve our staff recruitment and admissions practices with regard to equality, diversity and inclusion principles.

As part of these efforts, IGP offers听2 partial scholarships听to enable UK-domiciled students from under-represented backgrounds to pursue their Masters studies. "Receiving the Chevening Scholarship to join the Master's programme in Global Prosperity is an incredible privilege. I still remember the overwhelming excitement when I received both the scholarship result from Chevening and the admission result from MyAV范. This marked the beginning of a truly eye-opening journey which, as my supervisor often described his module, was 'challenging but very much worthwhile.'

My time at IGP was demanding, filled with rigorous topics and extensive reading materials, yet immensely rewarding. I gained invaluable insights and knowledge from the fascinating modules. This experience not only deepened my understanding of the social innovation work I am passionate about but also helped me discover more about myself, my own concept of prosperity, and the values I believe in.

None of these experiences would have been possible without the IGP community. My friends were supportive and kind, making our time together memorable. My lecturers were confident in their expertise, and most importantly, I saw their passion when they shared their knowledge with us. That鈥檚 what truly inspired me.

"Applying for the scholarship was surprisingly easy and completely worth it. The support I received through the scholarship made a huge difference, allowing me to focus on my studies without financial stress. I would encourage all prospective students to apply, especially those from Africa. My time at the IGP has been amazing, filled with great learning experiences and networking opportunities, which have provided me with a supportive community. 鈥淚 was hesitant to pursue postgraduate studies following my time at Warwick and I was ready to decline my offer at MyAV范 purely because of costs.
