To promote our work, and to increase awareness of databases and the Gene Ontology (GO) curation process, we are involved in a number of teaching initiatives:

• Each year, we run a two-day , designed to boost understanding of bioinformatics resources and their use.
• We teach a µþ¾±´Ç¾±²Ô´Ú´Ç°ù³¾²¹³Ù¾±³¦²õÌý³¾´Ç»å³Ü±ô±ðÌýwith the MyAV·¶Ìý course.
• For many years we have participated in the Community Assessment of Community Annotation (CACAO) competition.Ìý
