To access the services/resources highlighted here and throughout the MyAV范 Careers website, you will need to use your personal 'myMyAV范Careers' account. Logging in guidelines/support can be found below.

Appointments

All one-to-one appointment bookings with our team, (careers guidance听or application / interview coaching),听are managed through your myMyAV范Careers account. Please read our 'Get one-to-one advice' information before logging in to book.

Events

All upcoming careers events that you can book onto can be viewed on your myMyAV范Careers events calendar. To make the most of our events programme, please read our 'Come to an event' page before logging in to book.鈥�

Resources and job opportunities

Access a听wide range of help sheets, alumni case studies and job sector information to help inform your career planning ('Career Discovery') and / or search for jobs (temporary / part-time, internships, research posts and /or graduate-level jobs) from recruiters targeting听MyAV范. Update your myMyAV范Careers profile and subscribe to听our daily or weekly 听which will highlight all new job opportunities which match your personal areas of interest and / or our upcoming careers events which require advance booking. You can also sign-up to our 听to stay informed about what's going on at MyAV范 Careers throughout the year.

Logging in - current students

You will have access to myMyAV范Careers from the first day of your course at MyAV范 as shown on your , (usually the first day of the autumn term), and will need to use听your MyAV范 'single sign-on' 听(issued by ISD) to sign in to your personal myMyAV范Careers profile until your course / programme finishes.

While you are a current student at MyAV范, if your MyAV范 user ID / password is working for other student platforms, (Moodle etc.), but听you receive any type of error message when trying to log in to myMyAV范Careers as a student, please听听for support.

After听your course has finished, your MyAV范 single sign-on access to myMyAV范Careers through the 'Student sign in' button will stop working immediately,听(and will display an error message if you try) but, you will still be able to sign in to myMyAV范Careers in a different way for up to three more years听as a recent graduate听as outlined below.

Logging in - recent MyAV范 graduates

From the date that your course at MyAV范 finishes, you will need to use听the 'Alumni sign in' option to access your myMyAV范Careers profile and all MyAV范 graduates will have continued access to careers support and your myMyAV范Careers account for up to three听years听after your course ends as detailed on our website.

When your old MyAV范 user ID / password stops working via the student log in option highlighted听above, you will be able to use any email address and a personal password, (not linked with your old MyAV范 user ID), to continue logging in to myMyAV范Careers as and when needed.

To set up a new myMyAV范Careers password when signing in as a graduate for the first time, simply click the 'Alumni sign in' button and the and enter听the email address which is currently linked to your myMyAV范Careers profile*.听

鈥�Important note: The default email that was set up with your myMyAV范Careers account when you were a student will have been your MyAV范 email address but, specifically in the format of your 'email alias'*听which was assigned to you by ISD when you joined MyAV范 as detailed in their 'Connect to email' guidelines.

This is听usually in the format: name.surname.yy@ ucl.ac.uk (where 'yy' is the year you first joined MyAV范 as a student)听as opposed to the 'userid@ ucl.ac.uk' format of听your MyAV范 email or your new MyAV范 alumni 'email for life' address (产耻迟,听all three of these address formats are linked with the same MyAV范 email account and, you will still have access to emails sent to any of them as a graduate).

If entered correctly, you will immediately receive an automated email*听with a secure link set up a new password so that you can log straight in. Once logged in, if you would prefer to link your myMyAV范Careers account to a different email address for logging in and receiving emails, you can do this by 听and making that your default preference.

Alternatively, if you are having problems accessing your MyAV范 email听and can't use that to receive the password reset instructions following the instructions above, you can instead link any personal email address to your myMyAV范Careers account by completing this听, (ensuring that you include your old Student MyAV范, 'SN', or MyAV范 user ID), so that our team can update your myMyAV范Careers account to link with this preferred email address and send the secure link for creating听a new password there.

*Note: If you'd already chosen to use a non-MyAV范 address as your default for receiving听myMyAV范Careers emails while you were a student, use that address instead for the alumni sign in / password reset.听If not and you do not receive听a password reset email using the MyAV范 email format / alias described above, (remembering to check junk / trash folders), do also try your using MyAV范 address in the format, 'ucluserid@ucl.ac.uk' instead (in case you weren't assigned an email alias by ISD as a student).

Also note, if you are already receiving event or job alerts by email from myMyAV范Careers, those emails will highlight the exact format of email address you need to use to sign in to myMyAV范Careers as a graduate.

If you are still having problems signing in to your myMyAV范Careers account though having finished your course,听simply听contact the MyAV范 Careers听team听for support.听

Logging in - research staff

If you are employed by MyAV范 as a member of research staff, (including postdoctoral research staff/research assistants etc.), you will need to register your details with us to set up access to a myMyAV范Careers account.

Select the Research Staff button and you will have two options:

For first time use, you will need to select the 'Register' option. All MyAV范 staff have a MyAV范 user ID and password issued by ISD as detailed on听. When prompted to create a username for your myMyAV范Careers account,听you MUST use your email address in the format: 'userid@ ucl.ac.uk'听and then complete the other details on the registration form.
Once you have received the email notification that your registration has been approved, click the 'Log in'听button and use your standard MyAV范 user ID and password to log in to your account.听听

Other staff (departmental administrators and听careers liaison / personal tutors)

If your role at MyAV范 involves promoting specific services provided by MyAV范 Careers to your students, and you feel it would be useful to be able to view things like our events calendar or jobs board or to be able to monitor the day to day appointment availability that your students have access to, you can request 'read only' access to myMyAV范Careers.

Simply email听careers.info-team@ucl.ac.uk听with your job title, MyAV范 user-id and details of the type / groups of students, (level / discipline etc.),听you work with and in what capacity and we will then email you when your account is ready to log in to via the 'Departmental Staff'听button.

(Note: MyAV范 staff members, (non-academic/professional services), seeking careers support for themselves will not be able to book anything through myMyAV范Careers but, our website highlights alternative sources of support).
