MyAV范 IOE to deliver national professional development programme for early career teachers

MyAV范 Institute of Education (IOE) has been appointed by the Department for Education (DfE) to deliver the national roll-out of the Early Career Framework (ECF) for teachers.
The appointment will see the IOE supporting the development of early career teachers through an evidence-informed approach, as part of the DfE鈥檚 recruitment and retention strategy. The ECF underpins an entitlement to a fully-funded, two-year package of structured training and support for early career teachers linked to the best available research evidence.
The new IOE programme will be designed and delivered in partnership with the new Teaching School Hubs and other delivery partners, recruiting thousands of teachers and their mentors each year for an initial period of four years.
The new programme for early career teachers and their mentors will commence in September 2021. The new programme will build on our success in delivering the Early Roll-out programme and will be based on our which was published by the DfE. We will continue to deliver the Early Roll-out programme with our existing MyAV范 Early Career Teacher Consortium until its conclusion in July 2022.
