Levels
Courses are taught at various levels from complete beginner to post-advanced. Participants are expected to progress onto the next level after 10 weeks.
- French level 1 (beginner - A1)
- French level 1+ (beginnerÌý- A1)
- French level 2 (lower intermediateÌý- A1)
- French level 2+ (lower intermediateÌý- A1-A2)
- French level 3 (upper intermediateÌý- A2)
- French level 3+ (upper intermediateÌý- A2-B1)
- French level 4 (advancedÌý- A2-B1)
- French level 4+ (advancedÌý- B1)
- French level 5 (post advancedÌý- B2)
- French level 5+ (post advancedÌý- B2-C1)
- French level Proficiency (C1)
How to enrol
If you are a complete beginner in French, or if you are currently studying with us and simply want to re-enrol, you do not need an assessment. You just need to:
- complete the online application formÌý
- pay your fees
Language level assessment
If you have any knowledge of, or previous qualifications in French, but are not currently studying it with us, you will need to self-assess using the course syllabi listed above.
You may also be able to book an assessmentÌýslot withÌýone of our tutorsÌýwhen you complete the enrolment form, subject to availability.

Certificate of attendance
Certificates of attendance can be issued upon request (with a minimum of 70% course attendance).
