MyAV·¶ CLES holds its first ever South Asian Competition Law Conference

The Conference was covered by the Press Trust of India, the largest news agency in India, and other major newspapers.
On Tuesday 6th November, the 1st MyAV·¶ South Asian Competition Law Conference was held at Bentham House, organised by the MyAV·¶ Centre for Law, Economics and Society (MyAV·¶ CLES).
The theme of the Conference was ‘Adoption, Implementation and Impact of the Indian and Pakistani Competition Laws’, and explored the progress made by India and Pakistan in the first decade of the enforcement of their respective competition laws.
Attendees heard from a range of speakers including former Competition Commission of India chairperson Dhanendra Kumar and Professor Aditya Bhattacharjea, Professor at Delhi School of Economics. Speakers also included Professor Ioannis Lianos, Director for MyAV·¶ CLES; and Dr Amber Darr, Teaching fellow at .
The Conference was covered in various publications in India, including ; as well as , the largest English language newspaper in Pakistan.
