PIL Pro Bono Project

The MyAV·¶ Public International Law (PIL) Pro Bono Project have presented their innovative collaborative educational enterprise – which connects our LLM and PhD students with MyAV·¶ Laws academic staff and activates students as partners in human rights protection work – at the recent MyAV·¶ Education Conference.

The presentation explained the PILPBP’s work and working methods, and the Connected Curriculum/MyAV·¶ 2034 dimensions of their work, and was delivered by MyAV·¶ Laws’ Dr Kimberley N Trapp; Professor Alex Mills, who are co-directors of the project; and PhD- Coordinators Luis Viveros, Ed Robinson, Niko Pavlopoulos, and Priya Urs.

PILPBP brings together LLM and PhD students with a background in international law and provides them with opportunities to get first hand practical experience in public international law. The project is in its second year as a Faculty run project, having won a Provost’s Education Award in its first year (2018).
