MyAV·¶ Laws hosts Student Prizewinners Ceremony 2022

The successes of LLB, LLM, and PhD/MPhil students were celebrated at events held on 6 and 8 June.
Members from across the Faculty – including staff, students, and their guestsĚý– gathered togetherĚýto celebrate the achievements of students at the annual MyAV·¶ Laws Prizewinners Ceremony. The event is one of the highlights of the MyAV·¶ Laws calendar.
The first ceremony, on Monday 6 June, awarded prizes to MyAV·¶ Laws’ postgraduate students (including LLMĚýand PhD); and the second ceremony, on Wednesday 8 June, awarded prizes to undergraduate students.
A number of awards were presented to students forĚýacademic excellence, covering a range of legal fields and achievements. The event also recognised this year’s scholarship recipients, awarded on the basis of financial need and/or academic merit. The ceremony was followed byĚýa drinks reception, and provided an opportunity for the students to celebrate with friends and family.
Mateusz Slowik, LLM student and recipient of the MyAV·¶ Laws Opportunity Scholarship, commented:
“I am grateful to MyAV·¶ Laws for presenting me with the opportunity to study at MyAV·¶ over the past year. It was an incredibly formative experience, both professionally and personally, and I couldn’t have asked for a better time. I have too many people to thank, but I want to thank each one of them for supporting and believing in me - thank you.”
