Summary
This module ensures that you understand that evidence-based medicine (EBM) is important in making the appropriate decisions for individuals and populations, and as a tool for decision-making. It will provide you with the skills to practice EBM and to use the methods in your life-long learning. You will be taught how to turn a problem into a structured question that can be addressed by searching for and assessing the research literature.Ìý

Who is this module for?
This is a core module for all MSc Paediatrics and Child Health pathways, and optional module for the MRes in Child Health.Ìý
Teaching and Learning Methods
Teaching will be delivered through in-person seminars, small group sessions and practicals (library searching and systematic review methodology).
Assessment
You will need to write and present a Critically Appraised Topic (CAT).
