This is the first year core module for ESPS/ISPS students, giving an introduction to concepts and theories central to the understanding of modern European politics, history, law and thought. It is divided into several main sections:
- Political Science I: Key Issues and Problems in Politics
- Global Politics (ISPS only)
- Law
- History I: History of Political Thought
- Political Science II: Challenges to the State in World Politics
- History II: Explaining Modernity
- Political Science III: Political Economy
- Philosophy
- Guest lectures from other disciplines will also be given.Ìý
