This is a full-year module for students undertaking an Intercalated BSc in the Department of Science and Technology Studies (STS). Students undertake a research project largely of their own design and direction in the field of science and technology studies. An appropriate supervisor is agreed with the module coordinator, and research is discussed during regular tutorials. Students submit a literature survey and a 10,000-word research paper summarising their finding. They also deliver an oral presentation describing their work-in-progress.
