Description

This module focuses on how public organisations and civil servants can harness new emerging methods and practices of strategic and digital design to create, implement and evaluate public policies and public services. The module will specifically provide theoretical discussion of, and skills in, strategic design, agile development, service co-creation and citizen engagement principles and practices in public institutions. This module will also explore how governments can unlock public value from digital transformation and harness the potential encapsulated in the internet and data for more equitable public services. Finally, the module discusses and demonstrates how strategic design and digital transformation can help public organisations to develop and maintain dynamic capabilities.
