Thousands of graduating students join the MyAV范 Alumni Network

At this year's Graduation Ceremonies, thousands of graduates took the opportunity to continue a life-long relationship with MyAV范 after their studies by joining the MyAV范 Alumni Network - a community of over 140,000 alumni in 180 countries around the world.
Teams of student ambassadors invited graduates directly before and after the ceremonies to apply for a MyAV范 Alumni Benefits Card, giving them access to a range of alumni benefits and services including continued access to MyAV范's Library and MyAV范U's bars and cafes.
A number of prominent and committed MyAV范 alumni from around the world were also invited to give speeches to open individual ceremonies including Richard Brown CBE (MyAV范 MPhil Planning Studies 1977), Chairman, Eurostar Group and George Farha (MyAV范 Chemical Engineering 1991), Chairman of Intercat. Speakers passionately recalled their time as MyAV范 students, empathising with those present and emphasising what an impact MyAV范 has had and continues to make on their lives. As well as a MyAV范 Alumni Benefits Card, members of the Alumni Network have access to regular news and events at MyAV范 including an award-winning professional networking events series where recent graduates can learn more about careers within particular sectors and network with experienced alumni.
