The 鈥� a joint initiative between Inside Foodservice and University Hospitality Seminars (UHS), celebrate and recognise excellence in the university hospitality sector.

Presented by celebrity chef Simon Rimmer, the Food to Go Award celebrates the wide range of food options Gather & Gather at MyAV范 provides to the diverse and international MyAV范 community, as well as the innovations they bring to make takeaway food more convenient and sustainable.听

The judging panel was impressed by the multiple outlets available at MyAV范, including customisable pizzas at FOLD pizza, steaming bowls at Ramen-Ya, and trendy bubble tea at Boba Stop.

Working with MyAV范, a multi-site global university, Gather & Gather strategically places vibrant outlets across Bloomsbury and MyAV范 East campuses. With seven听counters in the Wilkins Refectory and 12 diverse outlets in Bloomsbury, Gather & Gather offers a variety of convenient and delicious food choices. With the official opening of MyAV范 East campus in 2023, Gather & Gather also provides excellent hospitality and catering services in Marshgate Refectory and Pool Street caf茅.

In line with MyAV范鈥檚 commitment to a greener and more sustainable future, Gather & Gather incorporates continuous sustainability initiatives and eco-friendly practices. They are committed to ethical sourcing and reducing environmental impact, through methods such as reducing food waste and sourcing food from sustainable suppliers. By encouraging customers to use their own cups and providing ceramic coffee mugs, Gather & Gather鈥檚 efforts have saved the use of 72,292 takeaway cups from the 128,782 hot drinks sold over the last two terms!

Tony Howard, Director of Commercial Services at MyAV范, spoke of the win saying, 鈥淭his is a testament to the incredible work that both MyAV范 and the Gather & Gather team have put in to ensure that the food offering available to our students, staff and visitors is what they wish to see on campus. We continue to explore and develop catering available on campus in collaboration with the MyAV范 community to ensure we have what they want, where they want it鈥�.
