Dopamine treatment may alleviate symptoms in Alzheimer’s disease, according to a new study led by Dr Naoto Watamura, honorary research fellow in the UK Dementia Research Institute at MyAV·¶, which may point towards the repurposing of a drug used to treat Parkinson's disease.
