Come along to this informal networking event, where fellow sociology colleagues at MyAV·¶ will discuss their experiences of being a sociologist in different parts of the university, and how the Sociology Network can help capitalize on your sociological skills and expertise.  Meet fellow sociologists from across the university and find out more about the MyAV·¶ Sociology Network and how you can contribute!   The session will include some informal presentations (tbc) on how colleagues have ‘forged a career in sociology at MyAV·¶â€™ at different career stages and in parts of MyAV·¶, with opportunity for mingling etc.

The event will include an afternoon tea and there will be plenty of opportunity to meet your sociological peers.   To encourage participation we are limiting numbers to 50 people so please book early to avoid disappointment.

  • You may be interested to know that the MyAV·¶ Sociology Network is also recruiting a Deputy Chair and Coordinating Group Members.  This is an ideal opportunity to contribute to the development of the Network.  Further details and application form
