British Council Study UK: Prepare to study and live in the UK
The British Council has launched a new open online course (MOOC) on preparing to study听and live in the UK. The course lasts 4 weeks and requires 3 hours of study per week, and it is free to sign up.听
The Study UK course will assist you with preparing for your studies, and provide information about UK academic culture, how courses are structured, and the language skills听needed to achieve success. It will also cover practical issues about life as a student in the UK, including what to bring, things you need to do on arrival, accommodation and making friends.
MyAV范 Go Abroad
The MyAV范 Study Abroad team听offers a range of global opportunities for current undergraduate students, both during and outside of term. These include Erasmus+ study exchanges, MyAV范 wide and departmental exchanges, as well as short-term global mobilities such as summer schools, summer research and international volunteering.
MyAV范 Transition mentors
If you are a first year undergraduate student you will be assigned a Transition Mentor who will help you settle in at MyAV范 and provide advice on academic topics, support services and administrative tasks that you need to complete at the start of your course.

MyAV范 Doctoral School
The MyAV范 Doctoral School provides support to postgraduate research students through courses, scholarships and inter-disciplinary programmes. The School is committed to听ensuring that the quality of research training at MyAV范 is at the highest international level.听
MyAV范 Alumni mentors
You can make the most of your time at MyAV范 by connecting with MyAV范听alumni all over the world, and strengthening your personal and professional network.听
You can search the Alumni Community online directory for potential听mentors from a pool of experienced alumni. Whether you have听just started an undergraduate degree or plan to be at MyAV范 for a year or less, you can听contact your future mentor directly and build a mentoring relationship that works for you both.

MyAV范 Global Citizenship Programme听
The MyAV范 Global Citizenship Programme brings together students from across MyAV范 to explore the biggest global challenges. The programme is open to all MyAV范 undergraduates and taught postgraduates, and听takes place on the Bloomsbury campus. The programme is free of charge, however, spaces are limited听and are听allocated on a first come first served basis.
The听Global Citizenship Programme听offers an opportunity to investigate real global issues and how they could be addressed, through research and your actions as a citizen. Each year, you can choose one of five strands: three are focused on听MyAV范's Grand Challenges, and two are听focused on preparing for your next step after university and putting your skills into practice.听There is no admissions test听or interview to sign up, you just need to complete the registration form听indicating which of the five strands you听would听like to do.听

MyAV范 Careers
MyAV范 Careers听is dedicated to supporting all current MyAV范 students,听researchers听and recent听graduates听to help them听find the right path towards success in their future career. The Careers team can help you find work opportunities such as internships, graduate vacancies and part-time jobs, as well as other opportunities such as volunteering. They can also help if you are planning to pursue further study, are applying for PhD or post-doctoral positions, or are looking听for financial support.
MyAV范 Careers offer a range of services, including one-to-one advice, interview coaching, career-specific events and workshops. They can support you with writing CVs and applications, and with preparing for interviews, assessment centres and aptitude tests.听

MyAV范 Innovation & Enterprise
MyAV范 Innovation & Enterprise can help you boost your employability, get to work on a business idea and make connections with like-minded peers through a range of workshops and events overseen by experienced entrepreneurs. They offer support to students so you can learn how to think like an听entrepreneur, get advice about a startup idea and get your business off the ground by applying to MyAV范's incubator programme.
MyAV范听Centre for Languages & International Education (CLIE)听
The MyAV范 Centre for Languages & International Education (CLIE) offers a range of courses for international students, including courses in nine modern听foreign languages and academic English. Foreign languages are also offered in the evening to MyAV范 students, MyAV范 staff and London鈥檚 wider academic and professional community.

Academic Communication Centre (AAC)
The MyAV范 Academic Communication Centre (ACC) is a support service to enhance MyAV范 students鈥� discipline-specific writing and speaking skills. We work closely with MyAV范 academic departments and faculties to develop tailored workshops, classes and tutorials for native and non-native English speakers.
