International Women's Day听

The EGA Institute for Women鈥檚 Health has held annual programmes of public events to look at some of the most important issues and challenges facing women around the world. Large numbers of people attend听these events (drama, debate, comedy, art, lectures) with many from outside MyAV范.

MyAV范 Female Firsts

鈥淲hen I learned that the first woman to win the Turner Prize had studied at the听MyAV范 Slade School of Fine Art, I was curious to discover more 鈥楳yAV范 Female听Firsts.鈥� This led to a MyAV范 wide endeavour to explore the impact and legacy of听twelve exceptional women and chart progress towards gender equality.鈥�

Signalling Cygnets

With the Institute for Child Health, we hosted a national event, 鈥淪ignalling Cygnets鈥� to share information and good practice amongst the 70 delegates in attendance.听

Women at MyAV范鈥� Presence and Absence

Another IWD event with wide impact was an exhibition 鈥淲omen at MyAV范鈥� Presence and Absence鈥� led by EGA IfWH in collaboration with MyAV范 Equality & Diversity team.听
